As an author, you don’t get to choose the cover of your book. That’s the publisher’s job.
I knew, given the wonderful cover that my publisher designed for Wag: The Science of Making Your Dog Happy, that they would come up with something beautiful for my next book.
But I didn’t realize quite how amazing it would be until I saw it. That's why I'm so excited about today's cover reveal.

I’m also thrilled and honoured that Purr has a foreword by Pam Johnson-Bennett. She says it is,

I’m pleased to say that Purr: The Science of Making Your Cat Happy is available for pre-order now from all your favourite bookstores. It will be published on 3rd May 2022.
Pre-orders really help authors. They let bookstores know that people are interested in the book, and so they know to order it in. This in turn helps publishers know how many copies of the book to print. If a publisher sees lots of pre-orders come in, it helps them feel confident about the book and they may even do more marketing.
Pre-orders show there is excitement about the book, and can also help to get media buzz, so they make a big difference.
Supply chain issues are a big deal in publishing right now, just like for everything else, so it seems like a wise move to pre-order if you want a copy. You typically don't pay for a pre-order until the book arrives or ships.
