I am delighted to share the news that Bark! Fest, the book festival for animal lovers, will return in September 2026—and you’re invited.

The original Bark! Fest took place in September 2024 as a launch event for my book Bark! The Science of Helping Your Anxious, Fearful, or Reactive Dog. Over 11 panels, we heard from authors of books about dogs and cats, with more than 1600 people signing up to attend.

It was a fun, friendly, and inspiring festival for people who love animals to hear authors read from their books and answer questions about why they wrote them.

It was a truly special event. And it was planned as a one-off.

But people kept asking if it would happen again.

So we decided that it would.

I’m just putting the finishing touches to the program, which for now is a closely guarded secret. Some favourite authors will return, and there are some new authors too. I can’t wait to share the books and authors with you!

You can pick your favourites from the book list for your summer reading, then come and listen to the authors in September.

It’s going to be amazing.

Stay tuned for the details, coming soon!
